To groom new talents in our society, our Student Internship Programme offers placement opportunities in various departments of the Council. Through the programme, students can gain real-world work experience through different projects and daily operations. We believe the students, the universities and the Council would benefit from the Student Internship Programme .Preferred working period: 19 June – 16 August 2023

Student Intern – Green Labelling
Number of placement: Two
Job descriptions:
To carry out data entry and analysis of BEAM Plus project assessment results;
To assist with desktop research related to green building;
To handle the daily administrative tasks of the Green Labelling Department;
To handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the team.
Requirement:
An undergraduate student, preferably with a major in environmental studies or related disciplines;
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
Detail minded and sensitive to data, sound knowledge of ArcGIS, PowerBI and/or Salesforce is a plus;
Keen interest in green building; be open-minded, well-organised and attention to details;
A good command of English and Chinese
Student Intern – Corporate & Administration
Number of placement: one
Job descriptions:
An undergraduate student, preferably in business administration and related disciplines;
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Well organized, detail-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirement:
Assist in the preparation and logistics arrangement of annual general meeting;
Assist in the preparation of Election of Directors;
Assist in preparing presentation materials and reports;
Assist in handling administration duties, including but not limited to office equipment maintenance, stationery and office supplies procurement, documentation and filing;
Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the team.
Student Intern – Marketing and Membership
Number of placement: One
Job descriptions:
Major in Marketing, Public Communications or English
Experience in organising events;
Detail-minded and well-organised;
Positive with can-do attitude;
Proficiency in using Powerpoint, Excel and Word;
Excellent writing skills in English is highly preferred;
Good understanding of digital marketing is a plus;
Requirement:
Prepare event logistics and provide onsite support;
Prepare marketing collateral;
Conduct market research on Green-built related initiatives in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area;
Provide support on CRM and corporate data management
Student Intern – Industry Practices and Research
Number of placement: Two
Job descriptions:
Assist in data capture, storage and analysis, and conduct research for project development
Assist in logistics of meetings and events of schemes and projects
Provide administrative support to the Industry Practices and Research Department as required and necessary
To support the execution and logistic arrangements of various events, including large scale international and regional conference, competition, stakeholder engagement, workshops, trainings, seminars and site visits, etc.
Requirement:
Be an undergraduate student, preferably with major in Engineering, Environmental / Sustainability or Building-related subjects
Be willing to learn and take up multi-assignments
Be proficient in research, gathering and analysing data
Be open-minded, detail-minded and well-organised
Be proficient in PC applications including MS Office
Possess good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Student Intern – Sustainable Development
Number of placement: Two
Job descriptions:

Provide administrative support to the Sustainable Development Department as required and necessary

An undergraduate student in Environmental and Sustainability in building-related disciplines

Be open-minded, detail-minded and well-organised
Be proficient in PC applications including but not limited to MS Office applications
Possess good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
